Absolutely love this place. Service is always great and their wine section and expertise is appreciated. The food is always great, especially if you like sea food. Never super crowded which is nice, and their attention to detail is always spot on. Some say the decor is dated inside, I kind of like it. Give it a try for sometime. I've only been there for dinner. Nice quite place for a romantic dinner or dinner with family.

I have been here several time... the service is impeccable... the wine selection is non-comparable.... the food is outstanding. Atmosphere is very quite and low key.. you can dress up or down doesn't matter. Highly recommend.

This west county restaurant is a true gem. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is a true fine dining experience. The owner is not only awesome, but he walks the floor and makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves like a true host. I will be back to Gerard's Restaurant anytime I am in West County.

First time at Gerard's for us but recommended to us by the 3rd member dining with us. He had been there regularly some 15-20 years ago. Service was impeccable- drinks reasonable for the amount of alcohol - and food was wonderful. Seafood specials were exactly that - special. We'll be back.

I took my daughter here for her 18th birthday. The service was impeccable, the Oysters Rockefeller were to die for, and their veal is out of this world!

My Mom took my sister and I out for a fancy dinner. I personally was not impressed. The service was great, but the food was somewhat disappointing given the price. Wouldn't go again.

Excellent fresh seafood choices and, for the selective connoisseur, the best oysters on the half shell this reviewer has ever had. The service is exquisite, friendly, and prompt. This place is a must go. Enjoy.

We went her for Valentine's Day this year. I was very excited to order the filet stuffed with Lump King Crab meat. The restaurant decor was very dated. It wasn't too busy at first and we ordered. We each got a cocktail. When the food came, I was very disappointed to find NOT LUMP KING CRAB meat but some minced mushy stuff instead. The steak was good but not the mush! Business picked up and they must have been understaffed because no one ever came back to check on us or ask if we wanted another cocktail. We will not be returning.

The food was good and servings were nice.The restaurant could use a makeover its a little dated.The people that work there are great.

Amazing food great service

Gerard's has the best linguini alfredo and salads! LOVE the atmosphere and the service is without comparison. No wonder this was "Stan the Man's" regular dinner spot!

The Veg Salad is reason enough to visit Gerards. I have been coming here a few times a year for at least a decade. I have never had a bad experience or meal. Highly recommended and almost tranquil.

A Des Peres staple. Its probably some of the best cuisine for the price in the area. Always amazing wine!!

Fantastic food. Lots of choices, but everything turned out really well. It's clear the chef has experience. Wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in navigating the large menu. Is a bit on the pricey side, but for great food, exceptional service, it's to be expected for an upscale restaurant.

Great, friendly service with food to match! The fettuccine alfredo with salmon was excellent and you gotta try the brownie too!

The stakes are amazing. One of the few places you can find really good gnocchi in St Louis. I love their oysters on a half shell. As good as it is I'm always surprised that rarely do I come in and I'm not able to be seated right away. There's a lot of restaurants around that aren't nearly as good that there would be a wait for.
